Alley Cat Hip Hop-Punk Rock Artist Market is a family-friendly event focusing on DC's local underground creative scene. From graffiti to street art, local music to custom clothing and crafts, Alley Cat brings great hometown artists and creatives together in one great marketplace.

Are you looking for that cool, yet thoughtful, gift that will be really appreciated? Maybe some inexpensive, but artsy, flavor for your own humble abode? Part flea market and part artist meet-and-greet, Alley Cat and DC’s unique art community create a fun and exciting marketplace for the public to browse, find great deals and meet the actual artists themselves.

Our vendors sell items like graffiti art, custom toys, stickers, prints, comics, zines, used records, vintage clothing, jewelry, t-shirts, and much more. We are a loose collective of local street artists, printers, crafters, jewelry-makers and our friends. This is our 6th market and we're only getting better. This is a curated artist market: we do not allow out-of-town, non-art-related, franchise or corporate-style businesses: only the coolest native creatives allowed.

Not only does Alleycat endeavor to create opportunities for local artists, but also help the greater community, as well. This year our markets worked with Words Beats & Life, DC Artists2StandingRock and other non-profit organizations. We provided free fundraising space, collected coats and other supplies, and held an art auction that benefitted the WBL afterschool programs.
